Re: STEP database structure

Just to let you know I'm out of regular contact on email thsi week, but progress wise i have done the following

• checked out the crosswire source
• built it
• change the UI to allow a good space for the STEP modules (right hand side - will attach a screenshot next week)
• integrated with some of their common bible dropdown search tools, to get notified of user interaction when they change the bible passage
• that integrates into the extra step projects and fires an event off to a database (in this case HSQLDB)
• I've also emailed the Dev team to work out out to branch off the code (it seems they use tagging instead of branching in their subversion repository, but STEP is going to be so big that it may well be worth be branching until it's ready enough to be merged back in.
• (building against trunk at the moment btw.)

 
 
Will be working on this more this week, but i think we've got a good start to the setup and proof of concept
