I'd uploaded them to the "non-doc" files group, not realising Google
Docs supported .csv. They're now in place in the History module.

Good. Wanted to make sure I wasn't duplicating anything else. (One thing
I have access to is copies of James Hastings' Dictionary of Christ and
the Gospels, and Dictionary of the Apostolic Church, the former already
scanned OCRed and proofread - they should provide a useful source of
material for the NT end.)

Yes, agreed. I was thinking that the Council of Chalcedon would probably
make sense as a terminal date, and was intending to do something which
included this, the earlier councils, dates for about 20-30 leading
figures in the church, major periods of persecution and a handful of
significant Roman emperors.
