Re: Attachment of a structured neatly packaged step demo

Chris, I'm sorry I took so long to get round to this. Tyndale Bulletin is now put to bed, so panic is over.

I unzipped, ran runSTEP.bat and got this:

Emacs!

As you can see, I typed "J" in the box and nothing happened.
I opened up Sword, to make sure this was still there (you can see it in the background),
in case your build needed something in Sword.

Then I quit this build with Ctrl-C
I uninstalled Sword, though I kept the modules (incl ESV) and tried again.
This time I got further:

Emacs!

The dropdown for "J" worked as planned.
Yey - we are starting to work!

Hi

Just wanting to check out the basics work, like the JSWord so there's a ton of logging to check

1- you can install a book (takes ESV and another random book).
2- you can see the dropdown filled with the names of the bible, so when you type "J" you see all the books beginning with J
3- Because this is a test, I wanted to be able to add a verse from the ESV into the dropdown to prove that we can get scripture out (in this John 1:1)

Cheers
Chris
