Re: [Tyndale STEP - Programming] History update and thoughts

Had a quick look and it looks brilliant.

I need to do some work on the timeline widget, unless anybody else has found a good timeline widget? The one on the net looks good, and we could use it pretty well I think, but the GWT component doesn't really work, and I'm finding it hard to make head or tail of the GWT documentation.

Also, at the same time, it makes sense to start working on importing all those CSV files into our database in a repeatable way. So a mini project would be to take the CSV file, analyse it, select the destination table and have it import it. Like that we can be playing around with test data, changing, etc to test, but always be able quickly to regenerate it from the provided CSV files.

Anyway, just a thought. I don't think the latter one will be too onerous a task. I'll try and work on the timeline thing cos I have a sample demo working, and therefore just need to tie it in to the GWT side of things...

Colin - congratulations!

Chris - is this the kind of data you need for prototype work?
Do you have access to the History dropbox folder?David IB
