Announcing Tyndale Step as a Crosswire community project

Hello

There are a few things on my list to before we do this, but it would be good to know what to say.

  • I'd like to get our project built in maven so that people can just pick it up and run with it. This will also reduce the amount of stuff stored in subversion. This is underway, although should take me till the end of the week.
  • I need to know whether the timeline csvs data is to remain in our svn repository, or whether we need to tag it somewhere with a line that says Copyright Tyndale House or whatever is appropriate... At the moment, it's just sitting on subversion (and directly available to anybody in the world)
  • Troy, what's the process of engaging people? Can anyone contribute? Or as an admin of the project do I need to assign people so that they have access somehow? Is it a free for all? I guess I'm thinking subversion access and JIRA?
  • What are we going to say in our first email? Can someone draft something, and I'll add to this.
Cheers
Chris
