Hi David,
Prompted by reading the author's obituary in the Telegraph, I bought a second-hand copy of Who's Who in the Bible, by Peter Calvocoressi.
I also obtained a copy of his book Top Secret Ultra, about his work at Bletchley Park during the Second World War.
I have read this already, but not yet started to peruse the Penguin Dictionary.
