This is going to happen anyway. One of my next tasks is to write
something that quickly hacks together everything we've got into very
basic HTML, just so you can get a feel for what's there, and it also
ensures the data is parseable easily. (Much like the existing timeline
stuff.) This will need the timeline, dictionary and bible ref stuff to
be in consistent places relative to each other..

Yes, this is already the plan. My current plan is to use wiki-style
links to indicate the hyperlinks, so "Saul tried to kill [[David]]"
would be a link to the David article. "In [[Revelation 12:13|Rev.12.13]]
displays the former text and links to the latter. These can be added in
pre-processing (then checked) so we don't need to do searching at
runtime - picking up the Bible references reliably is a bit of a pain.
